At the age of 14, Leonardo was apprenticed to the famous artist Verrocchio in Florence. There, he learned the techniques of painting, drawing, and sculpting.   

 He began to work independently and opened his own workshop in 1480. 

He continued his work on the "Mona Lisa". He also engaged in various scientific studies. 

Throughout his life, Leonardo da Vinci made significant contributions to art, science, and technology.
